<p>We’re introducing a new way to analyze BigQuery data in Google Sheets. After connecting to BigQuery data with Connected Sheets, you can use Gemini to interact and analyze that data conversationally, right in Google Sheets. Gemini queries run against the full dataset in BigQuery, not just what’s visible in your spreadsheet. This means users can now ask questions on, analyze, and create views over super large data sets. Key use cases include:</p><p></p><ul style="text-align: left;"><li><b>Ask questions in natural language: </b>Ask something like “What were total sales in the Northeast last quarter?” and get an answer based on your complete BigQuery data.</li><li><b>Dig deeper with follow-ups: </b>Keep the conversation going with questions like “How does that compare to the same quarter last year?” or “Which products drove the increase?”</li></ul><table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><tbody><tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg3wo9WzGuBuTA7rAVnPUsHUaFMWLs8FP4WQMNOJhj4a0NO-QpDNc-VwRRnUdgj4__07D4Ng3iKo4SJdoDdpKxg-500Q7amqaXJ376hU2KMLST8q-mtMbTJaD5ZgIGkHtLsM3EtXCnrXIcjD1GBA5rOry9TdgQcJjBDqq9jBASVVJRgCurUL0SVjX6Z788/s2000/Analyze%20BigQuery%20data%20using%20natural%20language%20with%20Gemini%20in%20Google%20Sheets%20-%207120%20-%201.gif" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1250" data-original-width="2000" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg3wo9WzGuBuTA7rAVnPUsHUaFMWLs8FP4WQMNOJhj4a0NO-QpDNc-VwRRnUdgj4__07D4Ng3iKo4SJdoDdpKxg-500Q7amqaXJ376hU2KMLST8q-mtMbTJaD5ZgIGkHtLsM3EtXCnrXIcjD1GBA5rOry9TdgQcJjBDqq9jBASVVJRgCurUL0SVjX6Z788/s1600/Analyze%20BigQuery%20data%20using%20natural%20language%20with%20Gemini%20in%20Google%20Sheets%20-%207120%20-%201.gif" /></a></td></tr><tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;"><br /><i>Ask Gemini to analyze and pull insights from your largest datasets in BigQuery</i></td></tr></tbody></table><ul style="text-align: left;"><li><b>Go from analysis to dashboard: </b>Describe what you need, such as “Build a quarterly sales review with revenue by region, a monthly trend, and our top 10 products.” Gemini will share its plan for you to review, then build a new spreadsheet tab with native, connected, refreshable objects like database formulas, pivot tables, and charts.</li></ul><table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><tbody><tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi8j7BkUnFo5i-hhACPS7NcKkWzAOXJElGGZkft1fJF3UMsxQEjlWVAH-wd6bqu-OCoAcqxD-B4z2eUHjnipj6XLojWqnOn_SjB2-vsld7V7Phitx19RWqFHjaEhmznmXyM9CDEHKslYSFTgR7qbMtEZMvG_9LQiJFw1qHM7Xb5-y7QqY-BbViwFY0fxpQ/s2000/Analyze%20BigQuery%20data%20using%20natural%20language%20with%20Gemini%20in%20Google%20Sheets%20-%207120%20-%202.gif" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1024" data-original-width="2000" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi8j7BkUnFo5i-hhACPS7NcKkWzAOXJElGGZkft1fJF3UMsxQEjlWVAH-wd6bqu-OCoAcqxD-B4z2eUHjnipj6XLojWqnOn_SjB2-vsld7V7Phitx19RWqFHjaEhmznmXyM9CDEHKslYSFTgR7qbMtEZMvG_9LQiJFw1qHM7Xb5-y7QqY-BbViwFY0fxpQ/s1600/Analyze%20BigQuery%20data%20using%20natural%20language%20with%20Gemini%20in%20Google%20Sheets%20-%207120%20-%202.gif" /></a></td></tr><tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;"><br /><i>Gemini can create connected charts, pivot tables, and dashboards that are always up to date with scheduled refreshes</i></td></tr></tbody></table><div><br /></div><div>For business users, Gemini handles the legwork of completing their end to end analysis, from querying the data to garnering complex and nuanced insights from the data, to laying out the final dashboard for review, allowing them to get their work done faster without ever leaving Google Sheets. Initial assessment ProcIntel's automatic, provisional read of this individual Signal -- Initial Significance and Initial Confidence, computed deterministically before any Event extraction or human review.

A provisional, automatically computed reading of this individual Signal, before Event extraction or human review. Not a final rating.

Significance 2 · Moderate
Confidence 3 · Moderate

Initial Significance Moderate (39.0/100). Strongest contributor: Procurement Impact (27.0/30 points). Limiting factor: Geographic Breadth (0.0/10 points). Initial Confidence Moderate (64/100, data sufficiency: Partial). Strongest contributor: Source Authority (40.0/40 points). Limiting factor: Extraction Quality (3.0/15 points). Capped at 64 (Moderate) -- neither the authoritative-origin nor the independent-corroboration route to Sufficient was met (no matched Event type; no actor entities (only attribution/metadata, if any); no actor content-derived geography), limiting Confidence even though other factors scored higher.
