While market conditions for titanium feedstocks remained challenging in the third quarter of this year, with prices continuing to be under pressure owing to oversupply, London-listed Kenmare Resources’ average ilmenite price, nevertheless, increased slightly compared with the second quarter, reflecting a more favourable product sales mix. In its third-quarter production report, Kenmare explains that prices for zircon increased again as the zircon industry continued to tighten.
