Smartphone sales also posted strong growth, with demand improving year-on-year (YoY).

Conversely, PC sales declined in Q3 2026 as prices rose by up to 30%. Meanwhile, school supplies, art materials, and books continued their upward trajectory. Installment sales and buy now, pay later (BNPL) services also expanded, while regional sales across GCC countries climbed by around 8%.

Physical showrooms accounted for 62% of total sales for the same quarter, while e-commerce and digital channels contributed 38%.

Alagil said Jarir continues to roll out website and app enhancements, as its online platform attracts around six million visitors per month.

The chairman said installment sales currently account for 41% of total sales. He anticipates the gradual launch of operations for the new installment finance company—in which Jarir holds a 49% stake—at the beginning of next year.

Alagil said Jarir aims to open nine showrooms this year, with eight already opened, including six new locations, five in Saudi Arabia and one in Kuwait, a showroom at Dammam Airport, and two replacement branches for existing stores.

Jarir’s Trade-In initiative, according to the top executive, is poised to sustain its momentum. Upcoming promotional retail seasons in November, December, and February are also expected to support sales.

He also projects an improvement in Apple product shipments and welcomed the impending opening of Apple’s physical retail presence by year-end, noting that it is unlikely to impact Jarir's sales.

Addressing supply chain headwinds, Alagil pointed out that freight and insurance costs have surged significantly to between three and five times their previous levels, impacting retail pricing on select goods due to elevated logistics and component costs.

Overall, the chairman expects the TASI-listed company's positive performance momentum to extend into the upcoming quarter.

According to Argaamdata, Jarir’s net profit rose 15% to SAR 374 million in Q3 2026, compared to SAR 324.9 million in the same period of 2025.
