<p>We are introducing next steps in Google Meet. Powered by Gemini and Workspace Studio, our new capability allows users to automate repetitive post-meeting tasks directly within Google Workspace. Next steps help you transform meeting discussions into definitive actions, like drafting follow-up emails in Gmail or exporting action items to Google Tasks.</p><p>During busy work days, meetings are frequently just one part of an expanding workflow. Without the right integrations, capturing decisions and executing on follow-up tasks requires manual data entry that leads to context fragmentation and wasted time.</p><p>On your post-meeting screen, look for the section titled, “Routines for this meeting,”&nbsp; where you can enable next steps with one tap. “Take notes for me” must be enabled during the meeting for any next steps to appear. This works for both one-off or recurring meetings, and users can enable a specific next step across all of their meetings (when “Take notes for me” is turned on).</p><p>We are starting out with just two routine next steps, draft a follow-up email and add action items to Google Tasks. However, there are several more soon on the way, so be on the lookout!</p><p><br /></p><table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><tbody><tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg-izOW_wvfZeZ5S8XhepTCA1gVKurVDL8bIgwtOAMH3aF0Oa-fqHBfT3l88To3CXtABL9oYuCZL7EvpWGeWlhV4m9a93JxzJrpLRsSWNZm6W2zzey0Kmfw3z-FY9DVapqVTivp3Ht4-fHNZefEBGHObiwm-MYShLIfBt4z0vLPFmJCydTHThCzBtmvROo/s2048/Find%20your%20routine%20next%20steps%20on%20the%20post-meeting%20screen%20in%20Google%20Meet%20%20-%206962%20-%201.gif" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1469" data-original-width="2048" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg-izOW_wvfZeZ5S8XhepTCA1gVKurVDL8bIgwtOAMH3aF0Oa-fqHBfT3l88To3CXtABL9oYuCZL7EvpWGeWlhV4m9a93JxzJrpLRsSWNZm6W2zzey0Kmfw3z-FY9DVapqVTivp3Ht4-fHNZefEBGHObiwm-MYShLIfBt4z0vLPFmJCydTHThCzBtmvROo/s1600/Find%20your%20routine%20next%20steps%20on%20the%20post-meeting%20screen%20in%20Google%20Meet%20%20-%206962%20-%201.gif" /></a></td></tr><tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;"><br /><i>Draft a followup email or export your action items to Google Tasks on the Google Meet post-call page after a one-off meeting</i></td></tr></tbody></table><br /><table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><tbody><tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhbpDMxe_iAB5qNT1eqRPerywPVWYfsg81wJieDztfWurLu8Mm65K51b39rk104kChgiyTIgqkC6jTbJMsDztkrW7oMqe_7mJNagusz4zRzIu3aXnaY_9_V3afpJr0EDNI7AmtQv_Dmb6EPKXo8E4FGS47gAnJG32B7UsVJDIg0wEmp2W2igHDHz8loaB0/s2048/Find%20your%20routine%20next%20steps%20on%20the%20post-meeting%20screen%20in%20Google%20Meet%20%20-%206962%20-%202.gif" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1471" data-original-width="2048" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhbpDMxe_iAB5qNT1eqRPerywPVWYfsg81wJieDztfWurLu8Mm65K51b39rk104kChgiyTIgqkC6jTbJMsDztkrW7oMqe_7mJNagusz4zRzIu3aXnaY_9_V3afpJr0EDNI7AmtQv_Dmb6EPKXo8E4FGS47gAnJG32B7UsVJDIg0wEmp2W2igHDHz8loaB0/s1600/Find%20your%20routine%20next%20steps%20on%20the%20post-meeting%20screen%20in%20Google%20Meet%20%20-%206962%20-%202.gif" /></a></td></tr><tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;"><br /><i>You can also complete your next steps after a recurring meeting</i></td></tr></tbody></table><h3 style="text-align: left;">Getting started</h3><p></p><ul style="text-align: left;"><li><b>Admins: </b>This feature will be ON by default and can be disabled at the domain/OU/group level via the Workspace Studio Admin settings or the Take Notes for Me setting.
