The project is spread across 80 hectares and has received approval from the state industry department and is currently awaiting cabinet clearance. Once approved, construction is expected to begin, with commissioning planned within the ‘next few years.’ It was initially proposed by ACC in 2012, but the land was later returned to the state government after development failed to commence within the stipulated period. Adani Group revived the proposal in 2023 after its acquisition of ACC.</p>
