Category: Caravan, motorhome and camper accessories. Product description: Portable waterless dry flush toilet designed for campervans, caravans, motorhomes, boats and off-grid cabins. The toilet has a motorised mechanism powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery to seal waste into bags. The adapter kit provides the same lithium-ion battery powered mechanism for use with other CompoCloset toilets. Reason the product is recalled: The battery management system in the lithium-ion batteries in the toilet and adapter kit does not prevent charging when the temperature is at or below 0°C. The battery can be damaged if charged at temperatures below 0°C. Damaged batteries can overheat, release smoke and toxic gas or catch fire in any weather, even if not being used. The hazards to consumers: Risk of serious injury, death, and/or property damage if damaged batteries overheat, release smoke and toxic gas or catch fire.
