With this strong contract, they have shown their commitment to raising the bar for workers across the entire waste industry,” said Sergio Arrañaga, a business agent for Local 350 and chief negotiator for the bargaining unit. “We carried the unit’s energy into negotiations and collectively delivered strong results.”</p> <p><!-- /wp:paragraph --></p> <p><!-- wp:paragraph --></p> <p>California Waste Solutions workers provide vital residential recycling services to over 170,000 households throughout the San José area.</p> <p><!-- /wp:paragraph --></p> <p><!-- wp:paragraph --></p> <p>“Every time we sit down at the bargaining table, we know the expectation of the members is to raise the bar.
