Profit from changes in the fair value of financial assets at fair value through profit or loss (FVTPL) also increased to AED 5.56 billion in the first half of 2026, compared with AED 185.6 million in the corresponding period last year. In addition, investment income and other income rose to AED 1.96 billion during the current period, versus AED 579.5 million in the first half of 2025.
