(<a href="https://www.argaam.com/en/tadawul/tasi/tasnee" target="_blank">Tasnee</a>) decided, on Aug. 17, to accept the resignation of CEO <a href="https://www.argaam.com/en/tadawul/tasi/tasnee/organizationemployhistory/fawaz-mohammed-fawaz-alfawaz/558" target="_blank">Fawaz Al-Fawaz</a>, effective Sept. 30, due to his decision to retire.</div> <div data-olk-copy-source="MessageBody" ></div> <div> <p >Al-Fawaz will continue to serve as a board member for the remainder of the current term.</p> <p ></p> <p >In a statement on <strong>Tadawul</strong>, the company said the board also decided to appoint <a href="https://www.argaam.com/en/tadawul/tasi/tasnee/organizationemployhistory/fahad-bin-abdulrahman-al-mishal/7446" target="_blank">Fahad Al-Mishal</a> as CEO, effective Oct. 1.</p> <p ></p> <p >Al-Mishal has more than 30 years of experience in the global petrochemical industry, during which he held several senior leadership positions. He served as Executive Vice President of Finance, Administration and Marketing at Advanced Petrochemical Co.</p> <p ></p> <p >Al-Mishal holds a bachelor’s degree in Management and Economics from Qatar University. He has also completed several executive and leadership programs at London Business School, the University of Oxford, INSEAD in France, and other leading international educational institutions, covering advanced management for senior executives in petrochemical markets, economics, and leadership development.</p> <p ></p> <p >In addition, Al-Mishal serves on the boards of Tasnee and Canadian Medical Center Co. He currently chairs the boards of Tasnee and Sahara Olefins Co., Saudi Polyolefins Co., Saudi Ethylene and Polyethylene Co., and Saudi Acrylic Acid Co.</p> </div>
