<p class="ckeCaption"><span ><span class="ckeCaption" ><img src="https://argaamplus.s3.amazonaws.com/4d3237e0-8108-415c-8c4f-359ab9bd264b.png" ></span></span>The UAE Central Bank’s gold holdings rose 23% year-on-year despite declining in June.</p> <hr> <p >The value of gold bullion held among the central bank assets declined by AED 4.5 billion to AED 35.4 billion at the end of June, from AED 39.9 billion at the end of May, data from the Central Bank of the UAE showed.</p> <p ><br> On an annual basis, the value of gold bullion rose 23%, or AED 6.5 billion compared with around AED 28.9 billion in June 2025.</p> <p ><br> The UAE Central Bank had decided in April 2015 to resume building its gold holdings alongside its foreign currency reserve portfolio, after having dropped off the World Gold Council’s list of global central bank gold reserves.</p> <p ></p>
