This is intended to safeguard their rights while enhancing establishments’ ability to manage the financial and operational burdens arising from such incidents, the authority said in a statement.</p> <p ></p> <p >The compensation provided under the policy varies depending on the nature of the activity and the level of associated risks, it added.</p> <p ></p> <p >The insurance will be mandatory pursuant to the Cabinet’s resolution No. 103. Accordingly, the insurance policy will become one of the basic requirements for obtaining a license from the General Directorate of Civil Defense to carry out activities subject to the insurance requirement. Coverage will be subject to the terms, conditions, and exclusions set out in the policy.</p> <p ></p> <p >The insurance will be implemented in several phases and will cover, among others, a number of economic, commercial, entertainment, and healthcare activities.</p>
