The tenant then repays the bank the same amount in zero-interest installments over flexible periods up to 12 months.<br> <br> Once launched and finalized, the initiative is expected to make Dubai the first city globally to adopt this integrated mechanism within its rental market system.<br> <br> The initiative reflects the emirate’s drive to develop innovative and flexible solutions in the real estate sector, support tenants, improve housing accessibility, and introduce new financial tools through cooperation between the government and banking sectors.<br> <br> The official announcement will clarify additional terms of eligibility, as well as the full mechanisms for application, financing and payment, and the regulations governing the tenant-landlord-bank relationship.<br> <br> Dubai Land Department previously launched the 'Easier Leasing' initiative on June 23, which aimed to broaden rental options for tenants by offering flexible payment mechanisms, including monthly, quarterly or semiannual payments, in addition to incentives and promotional packages provided by participating parties. The plan aims to support rental market stability, enhance quality of life and offer suitable housing solutions for various segments of society.<br> <br> Under this agreement, the 'Easier Leasing' model was applied to vacant or eligible rental units owned or managed by partners, providing flexible payment options and the possibility of offering incentives, rental discounts or special packages for new tenants as per partners’ approved policies and in line with applicable regulations and laws in Dubai.</span></span><br> </p>
