POS transactions represent consumer spending using debit and credit cards at shopping malls, retail stores, pharmacies, and other outlets. Meanwhile, cash withdrawals from ATMs fell by around 9% YoY to approximately SAR 39.02 billion in June. These withdrawals were made through 14,400 ATMs operated by banks and the Saudi network across 123.9 million transactions. The total number of issued bank cards reached 69.19 million. E-commerce sales via Mada cards surged to SAR 33.63 billion in June, up 30% YoY. According to SAMA data, these transactions were carried out through 184.8 million operations.
